Our Impact in Nebraska
We believe in providing sustainably raised products that enhances the land we cultivate.

Encroaching Cedars
Eastern Redcedars are damaging grassland ecosystems across the Great Plains, causing declines in bird populations, stream flow, native flora, and pasture raised livestock. In Nebraska, we are joining the efforts to restore the 350,000 acres of grassland overtaken by these trees.
Cultivating Cover Crops
We have integrated cover crops in our operation to reduce erosion, improve soil health, enhance water quality, minimize soil compaction, boost moisture efficiency, provide wildlife habitat, and offer nutrient-rich forage for our cattle.

Wetland Protection
Wetlands are found in every county in Nebraska and with only 65% of Nebraska's wetlands intact, we are doing our part to protect and restore these vital environmental biomes. In 2019, we removed sediment and expanded our wetland, alongside already regularly removing noxious and invasive species.
Rotational Grazing
Our grazing system includes diverse forage types like cover crops, legumes, cool and warm-season grasses, and corn stalks, offering year-round nutrition for our cattle. By carefully managing grazing timing, we combat invasive grasses, support pollinators and wildlife, and improve soil health.
